Mental Wellbeing in the Workplace

Throughout November we see a lot of awareness raised about the importance of positive mental health and wellbeing, with the likes of National Stress Awareness Day, Anti-Bulling Week and Movember.
With one in four of us affected by a mental health problem each year, ensuring positive mental health and wellbeing is a responsibility every business should focus on. And HR has a pivotal role to play in helping businesses to develop a supported, safe and engaging place for employees to thrive where the correct policies and procedures are valued.

At Cloverhill Consultants we’re proud to offer Ofqual and SAQ FAA regulated training in First Aid for Mental Health. These engaging courses are run over ½, 1 or 2 days depending on the desired level of training, resulting in a nationally recognised qualification. Those on the training will be provided with the knowledge to recognise a range of mental health conditions, how to start a supportive conversation and how to signpost someone to seek appropriate professional help. All of which helps to reduce the stigma around mental health issues and encourages early intervention.
